Last updated: July 31, 2026
1. Introduction
Project Feelz ("we," "us," or "our") operates PJF Plugin Gallery at www.projectfeelz.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our Platform.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
Account registration data (email address, display name); profile information you choose to add (DAW, genres, country, age); newsletter subscription preferences; contact form submissions; push notification subscription details, if you enable push notifications on a supported device.
Information collected automatically:
IP address (anonymized where required by law); browser type and version; device type and operating system; pages visited and time spent; click and interaction data (e.g., plugin views, downloads initiated, ad clicks); cookies and similar tracking technologies; a behavioral profile derived from your activity (such as which plugin categories, DAW, and genres you engage with most) used to personalize recommendations and content, this is generated automatically from your usage and is not shared outside the Platform.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/EEA Users)
Under GDPR, we process your personal data based on: Consent — for newsletter emails and non-essential cookies; Contractual necessity — to provide our services when you create an account; Legitimate interests — for analytics, security, and improving our services; Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to: operate and maintain the Platform; personalize your experience; send newsletters and updates (with your consent); display relevant banner advertisements and search suggestions; measure advertising performance; analyze Platform usage; prevent fraud and ensure security; comply with legal obligations.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies for: Essential cookies — required for authentication and core functionality; Analytics cookies — to understand how users interact with the Platform; Advertising cookies — to measure banner ad performance (impressions, clicks). EU/EEA users will be presented with a cookie consent banner.
6. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: Service providers — hosting (Netlify), database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend); Advertising partners — aggregated, anonymized ad performance data only; Legal requirements — when required by law or court order.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. For EU/EEA users, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
8. Your Rights
All users have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate personal data; deactivate your account (you immediately lose access and we stop contacting you, though we retain the underlying data, this is separate from full deletion); request full deletion of your data, handled manually on request since it isn't currently self-serve; opt out of marketing communications at any time. EU/EEA users additionally have the right to data portability, restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with their local Data Protection Authority. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal data).
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active. Deactivating your account (available from your Profile page) immediately revokes your access and stops all future communications, but does not erase your data, we keep it because reliably purging it in full is impractical to offer as an instant self-serve action and some data may be needed for legal or fraud-prevention purposes. If you want your data fully deleted rather than just deactivated, contact us and we'll handle it manually. Analytics and ad performance data is retained in anonymized form for reporting purposes.
10. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication through Supabase Auth, and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
11. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
