Developed in collaboration with the legendary duo Infected Mushroom, Wider is a specialized "pseudo-stereo" plugin designed to make any mono signal sound incredibly broad. Unlike traditional stereo enhancers that often cause phase cancellation—making your track sound thin or "hollow" when played on mono systems (like phones or club PAs)—Wider uses a sophisticated all-pass and comb filtering algorithm. This ensures that even at extreme settings, the signal remains perfectly in phase when summed back to mono.

The interface is minimalist and intuitive, centered around a single slider that can expand the stereo image up to 200%. While 100% represents a full stereo spread, the 200% setting provides an exaggerated, larger-than-life spatial effect. The updated version, Wider 2, includes a Low-end Bypass function, allowing you to keep your bass and sub frequencies strictly in the center to maintain punch while widening the mids and highs. It is an essential, CPU-light tool for making synths, vocals, and guitars sit out on the edges of a mix.
