Voices Of Soul is an EastWest vocal library, and it sits within a vocal catalogue the developer describes as a recent slate of award-winning vocal products including Hollywood Choirs, Voices of the Empire, and Voices of Soul — placing it alongside the larger choral libraries while serving a different purpose. Its subject is soul and gospel-influenced singing, a tradition whose production requirements differ sharply from classical choral work: the pitch is often deliberately bent, the vibrato is expressive and variable rather than even, and the phrasing is conversational, which is why a Western classical choir library cannot substitute for it. Content of this kind typically supplies solo and small-ensemble performances across the vocal ranges, with sustained notes, phrases, ad-libs, and riffs, and often wordless vowel sets alongside performed material. The developer's related vocal title Voices of Opera is a 40 GB collection of 229 multi-sampled vocal instruments across various categories, giving a sense of the scale EastWest applies to its vocal libraries — confirm the specific contents and size of your edition. It includes "Opus" as a sample player, running as standalone or plug-in in AAX Native, AU, VST2, and VST3 on Mac and Windows, and is available as a perpetual licence or via ComposerCloud+. Requirements for Opus libraries are macOS 10.15 or higher (64-bit) or Windows 10 or higher (64-bit with an ASIO sound driver), with a quad-core CPU (octa-core recommended) at 2.7 GHz or higher, 16 GB RAM (32 GB or more recommended), and an SSD hard drive (SATA or PCIe). It suits soul, R&B, pop, gospel, and hip hop production, plus film, television, and advertising work needing a soulful vocal texture. #VoicesOfSoul #EastWest #VocalLibrary #Soul #Gospel #RandB #AdLibs #Riffs #FilmScore #Television #Advertising #Opus #ComposerCloud #HipHop #Pop #SoundDesign #MusicProduction #AAX #AU #VST2 #VST3 #Standalone #LogicPro #Cubase #ProTools #Reaper
