Virtual Playing Orchestra aims to provide a complete symphonic experience for free. It takes samples from SSO, VSCO2, and University of Iowa, and processes them so they have consistent volume levels and spatial placement. It offers multiple articulations (staccato, sustain, etc.) and is designed to be loaded into Sforzando. It is perhaps the most organized and comprehensive free "mega-library" for those who want a full orchestra without the price tag.
