Antelope Audio VEQ-STU 169 is a 3-band inductor-based equalizer modeled after the EQ section of a second-generation Swiss mixing console from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Its circuit is designed to reproduce the original hardware's transparent yet gently colored analog character, with smooth high-frequency response, generous headroom, and clean low-frequency shaping. The low band shelves at 60 Hz, the mid band sweeps from 150 Hz to 7 kHz, and the high band shelves at 10 kHz.

VEQ-STU 169 provides adjustable low and high shelving EQs, a sweepable bell-shaped mid band, and a switchable low-cut filter, making it suited to broad tonal shaping rather than surgical correction. The low and high bands offer up to ±4 dB of adjustment, while an output Gain control compensates for level changes introduced by the EQ. The plugin runs natively on Windows and macOS in VST3, AU, and AAX formats, with a Synergy Core real-time version available for compatible Antelope Audio hardware.
