Twisted Synths & FX – Massive Presets is a preset pack for Native Instruments Massive aimed at the warped and textural end of electronic production. Massive's architecture supports this well: three wavetable oscillators drawn from a broad wavetable set, a range of filter types with built-in drive, eight macro controls and four performer controls, plus a modulation system with LFOs and envelopes assignable to most parameters — the routing depth is what makes aggressive, unconventional sound design possible in a single patch, since the "twisted" character comes from modulations that fight the sound's natural behaviour rather than from processing after the fact. Packs in this register are structured consistently, and the format is documented on comparators. The Tone Foundry's Neon City Synthwave ships 70 presets for Native Instruments Massive, broken down as 13 Bass, 11 Synth, 11 Pad, 10 Lead, 9 Sequence, 5 Keys, 5 FX, 2 Bell, 2 Pluck, 1 Brass, and 1 Organ, plus 50 Bonus Wavs, with v1.1 bringing it to 60 presets and v1.2 adding 10 more — demonstrating how these packs are weighted and version-maintained. Loopmasters' Patchworx series applies the same structure across synthesizers with packs such as Icicle Drum & Bass – Massive Presets, comprising 64 custom presets, 64 MIDI files, and 64 WAV rendered versions, broken down as 20 Bass, 6 Arps, 10 Drums, 8 FX, 10 Lead, and 10 Pads — the WAV renders being useful because they let a producer audition the sound without loading the host. A compatibility note applies to every pack in this family and should be stated: Native Instruments Massive is required, and Massive presets are not compatible with NI Massive X — so buyers should confirm which instrument they own, since Massive and Massive X are separate products with incompatible preset formats. It suits electronic music, industrial, glitch, techno, and sound design, and the FX categories in packs of this kind are generally useful beyond their genre, since a warped riser or texture patch is rarely genre-bound. Presets run inside the host on macOS and Windows wherever Massive runs. Confirm the publisher and preset count against your listing, since the name is descriptive and Massive packs in this corner of the market are numerous. #TwistedSynthsAndFX #MassivePresets #Massive #NativeInstruments #PresetPack #SynthPresets #SoundDesign #Wavetables #Macros #PerformerControls #Modulation #Industrial #Glitch #Techno #ElectronicMusic #MusicProduction #VST #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase
