Sugar Bytes Turnado is a real-time multi-effects processor designed for transforming audio through rhythmic, tonal, and spatial processing. It provides 24 effect algorithms across eight assignable slots, covering delay, reverb, filtering, distortion, modulation, looping, pitch manipulation, and DJ-style effects. Each slot has a dedicated main control that activates its effect and changes multiple parameters as the knob moves, making it possible to create complex sound transformations with minimal manual adjustment. Its dynamic signal-flow system supports both conventional serial routing and effect activation-based routing.

Turnado includes Dictator Mode, which allows one fader to control multiple effect knobs simultaneously, making it useful for performance automation, build-ups, drops, and evolving transitions. Two LFOs and a step sequencer per effect slot provide additional modulation, while MIDI Learn and DAW automation support hands-on control. The plugin is suitable for drums, vocals, synths, basslines, loops, and full mixes, particularly in electronic music, hip-hop, experimental production, and live remixing. It supports VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats on compatible Windows and macOS systems, with a standalone version also available.
