Native Instruments TRK-01 is a creative kick and bass instrument designed to build the low-end foundation of electronic productions. Its Kick module combines two independently shaped layers, which can use synthesized sounds, samples, noise, or rumble, while the Bass module provides five synthesis engines covering wavetable, FM, supersaw, classic monosynth, and West Coast wave-shaping approaches. Both sections include dedicated filtering, modulation, and effects for creating everything from tight electronic kicks and sub basses to aggressive and experimental low-end sounds.

TRK-01's independent Kick and Bass step sequencers provide velocity, pitch, gate, note length, Parameter Focus, and Step Locks for detailed rhythmic and tonal modulation. Its Ducker can create sidechain-style movement by responding to the kick and controlling bass level, EQ, effects, and other parameters. Additional features include swing and groove quantization, automatic kick-and-bass tuning to 16 scales, eight sound setups and patterns, MIDI input, delay and reverb sends, and master bass enhancement and compression. TRK-01 runs in REAKTOR Player or REAKTOR and supports VST, VST3, AU, and AAX on Windows and macOS, with Apple Silicon support.
