Transfuser 2 is described as a dynamic audio/MIDI environment for manipulating, slicing, and remixing your loops and sounds into something entirely new. The real-time workflow is its central proposition: with a series of real-time controls, Transfuser 2 lets you create and tweak grooves, chop up beats and phrases, time-stretch sounds, re-pitch notes, randomize sequences, and more — all on the fly. That makes it equally a production tool and a performance instrument, since the manipulations happen live rather than being rendered. Its second capability is generative, and the developer describes it as an inspiring compositional tool that intelligently generates chords, melodies, variations, and grooves based on a musical analysis of your track — meaning the software analyses the material you load and proposes parts that fit it, which is a different proposition from a generic sequence generator. Contents are substantial: a premium drum and instrument library that includes 3,200+ loops and 1,200+ drum machine samples for instant music experimentation. System requirements are Windows 10 and 11 or Mac OS 13 to Mac OS 15, with an Intel Core i5 or i7 2.3 GHz processor or higher on Windows and an Intel Core i5, i7, 2.3 GHz processor or M Series chips on Mac, plus 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended), and full support for MPC standalone and desktop systems. It suits hip hop, electronic, breakbeat, and experimental production, and is also used for live performance and remix work. It forms part of the AIR Instrument Expansion Pack, alongside VELVET, VACUUM PRO, THE RISER, MINI GRAND, and DB-33, described as bringing the world's most innovative virtual instruments to your favorite DAW. Note that AIR Music Technology products require registration with the manufacturer and an internet connection to authorise. #Transfuser2 #Transfuser #AIRMusicTechnology #LoopSlicing #Remixing #TimeStretch #GenerativeMusic #Grooves #MPC #LivePerformance #HipHop #Breakbeat #ElectronicMusic #SoundDesign #MusicProduction #VST2 #VST3 #AU #AAX #Standalone #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase
