Tech House NI Massive X is a preset pack for Native Instruments' Massive X, aimed at tech house — a genre whose technical requirements are specific and worth describing. Tech house is defined by a rolling, filtered bassline that moves in sixteenths, a tight and clicky kick, sparse percussion with a swung feel, and short chord stabs, and the bass is the genre's identifying element: a tech house bass is nearly always a filtered, grooving patch whose movement comes from filter modulation synced to the beat rather than from note choice, which is why a preset library for the genre lives or dies on its bass patches. Massive X differs from the original Massive in ways that matter here and should be stated, because preset incompatibility is the single most common purchase error with this instrument: Massive X is a separate product from Massive, and presets for one do not load in the other. Massive X's architecture is documented as a substantially different engine from the original, with new oscillator modes, a redesigned routing system, and different modulation and filter options — and its filter and oscillator set is well suited to tech house's filtered bass work, since the genre's sound depends on precise filter behaviour rather than on exotic synthesis. What a pack for the genre should supply follows from its requirements: rolling filtered bass patches, stab and chord patches with short decay envelopes, plucked and percussive synth sounds, and risers and effects for transitions. A requirement applies and should lead the entry: Native Instruments Massive X is required, and buyers should confirm they own Massive X and not the original Massive, since the two are separate products with incompatible preset formats. Presets run inside the host on macOS and Windows wherever Massive X runs. It suits tech house, minimal house, deep tech, and club-oriented electronic production. Confirm the publisher and preset count against your listing, since the name is descriptive and Massive X packs in this genre are widely published. #TechHouseNIMassiveX #MassiveX #NativeInstruments #PresetPack #TechHouse #MinimalHouse #DeepTech #Presets #Bass #FilteredBass #Stabs #Plucks #Grooves #Risers #MassiveXIncompatible #Massive #SoundDesign #ElectronicMusic #MusicProduction #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase
