Synthwave for InstaChord 2 is documented as unlocking the harmonic heart of synthwave with a collection of presets designed to put lush, vintage chord progressions at your fingertips, and its contents are documented as 40 presets with everything from warm, lush chord pads to tight, driving stabs. The genre's harmonic requirements are worth stating, because synthwave's chord vocabulary is more specific than its name suggests: the style draws on 1980s film-score harmony, on Italo disco's minor-key progressions, and on the suspended and added-note voicings that give the genre its cinematic quality — with the "outrun" and "darksynth" variants leaning darker and more chromatic, and retrowave and vaporwave leaning toward softer, more nostalgic progressions. The v1 listing documents exactly that spread, offering 50 radical presets that bring together the most powerful chord combinations for Synthwave, Outrun, Vaporwave, Darksynth, and Retrowave — so a buyer should know the second volume narrows its focus, and the catalogue should carry the contents of the volume it names rather than the series description. The 40-preset count and the pads-to-stabs range tell a producer what the bank is for: pads carry the sustained harmonic bed, and stabs supply the rhythmic chord hits that punctuate a synthwave arrangement — the two roles a chord bank in this genre needs to fill. A requirement applies and should be stated prominently: InstaChord is required to run these presets, and these presets are designed to work exclusively with our InstaChord plugin — so this is an add-on rather than a standalone product, and a buyer without InstaChord should purchase the host first. The version distinction matters and should be verified: W. A. Production publishes an InstaChord 2 Upgrade alongside the original, and the catalogue should confirm whether this pack targets InstaChord 1 or InstaChord 2, since the two versions are separate products — the v1 Synthwave pack is listed at $9.90 while this second volume is priced differently, so the listings are distinct. The integration behaviour that applies across the InstaChord range is worth carrying: you can use all of the presets and still utilize all the existing features of Instachord that you know and love. You can edit by changing the action, the designation, transpose, change the octave, and even save your custom changes as a new preset — the editability being the reason a chord preset is useful, since synthwave progressions are frequently reharmonised into related voicings rather than used as-is. It is published by W. A. Production and distributed through Plugin Boutique and waproduction.com. It suits synthwave, outrun, darksynth, retrowave, and 1980s-influenced production, and the pack's value is access to the genre's harmonic vocabulary without requiring the producer to work it out from records — which is the same service the Jazz & Blues InstaChord packs provide in their own territory. #SynthwaveForInstaChord2 #InstaChord #WAProduction #PluginBoutique #ChordPresets #MIDIProcessor #ExpansionPack #Synthwave #Outrun #Vaporwave #Darksynth #Retrowave #ChordVoicings #ChordPads #Stabs #Transpose #Octave #Action #Designation #InstaChord2Upgrade #MusicProduction #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase #StudioOne
