SynthMaster 3 Upgrade from SynthMaster 2 is the discounted route for existing owners of the second-generation instrument. The upgrade applies regardless of whether you own SynthMaster 2 or SynthMaster 2 Player, and — critically — SynthMaster 3 expansion packs cannot be used on SynthMaster 2, so the upgrade is what unlocks the new content library as well as the new engine. The version 3 additions justify the move. Synthesis coverage now spans VAnalog, Additive, Vector, Wavetable, Granular, Phase Modulation, Phase Distortion, Frequency Modulation, Pulse Width Modulation, Ring Modulation, Physical Modeling, and SFZ Sample Playback. The generator module set adds Basic Oscillator, Additive Oscillator, Vector Oscillator, Wavetable Oscillator, VAnalog Oscillator, Granular Oscillator, and Modulator. The granular oscillator alone is a significant addition — it applies granular synthesis on a single sample, multisample, or wavetable, with up to 16 "voices" each holding up to 32 grains, giving up to 512 grains per oscillator. The wavetable editor can save generated wavetables in SynthMaster 3's own format or export them as WAV for use in other wavetable synths, with 2–256 exported frames. The 16-layer, 16-module-per-layer architecture replaces the earlier structure, and Arp/Sequencer Randomization allows each step to carry random values for trigger, hold, and slide. Requirements are a 2.0 GHz CPU with Intel SSE3, 2 GB RAM, Windows 7 and above or macOS 10.9 and above, with Pro Tools 11 and above for AAX, in VST2, VST3, AudioUnits, and AAX formats. A further SynthMaster 3 Upgrade from SynthMaster One tier exists for owners of the smaller instrument, and a SynthMaster Everything Bundle is available with an Upgrade from SynthMaster 3 path. #SynthMaster3 #SynthMaster2 #SynthMaster #KV331Audio #Upgrade #ModularSynth #Synthesizer #Granular #Wavetable #SoundDesign #ElectronicMusic #MusicProduction #VST2 #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase
