Native Instruments SUPER 8 is a modern take on classic analog polysynths, featuring two oscillators with four selectable waveforms each for creating warm and rich synth tones. Its architecture includes oscillator sync, FM, low-pass, band-pass and high-pass filtering, envelopes, and flexible modulation, making it suitable for basses, leads, pads, keys, soundscapes, and electronic effects. The instrument also includes an intuitive interface designed for quick hands-on sound shaping.

SUPER 8 provides two flexible modulators, extensive modulation routing, unison with up to eight stacked voices, and built-in chorus, flanger, delay, and reverb effects. It comes with a large collection of presets covering vintage-inspired and modern sounds and can be played from a MIDI controller for expressive real-time modulation. The current SUPER 8 R2 version is available as a dedicated VST3, AU, and AAX plugin for Windows and macOS and no longer requires loading through REAKTOR.
