UVI Super-7 is an instrument inspired by the Roland MKS-7, an eight-voice rackmount synthesizer that combined the analog architecture of the Juno-106 with PCM sounds from the TR-707. UVI recreated its character through multisampled hardware patches, including recordings with the original chorus and noise switch engaged. The instrument covers rich synth lines, basses, melodies, and vintage drum sounds while retaining the warm character associated with ’80s electronic production.

Super-7 expands the original concept with six discrete layers, independent control over drums, bass, melody, and three general-purpose synth parts, plus a creative arpeggiator and 260+ factory patches. Its sound palette is particularly suited to synthwave, new wave, electro, house, ’80s synthpop, and retro electronic music. It runs through UVI Workstation or Falcon and supports Audio Units, AAX, VST, VST3, and standalone formats on macOS and Windows.
