SRX KEYBOARDS is described as ultimate keyboards from the '90s, and it belongs to the SRX software synthesizer plug-ins that bring the well-loved sounds of Roland's legacy SRX and SR-JV80 wave expansion boards to your modern music production workflow. The concept is worth explaining in the catalogue: instruments like the JV-1080, XP-80, XV-5080, and numerous others offered the ability to expand their sounds with user-installable expansion boards, each loaded with a specialized sampled waveform set for different styles and genres — and the SRX series packages those boards as standalone plugins. Its content is drawn from the keyboard-focused expansion collections, giving access to the piano, electric piano, organ, and keyboard sounds that defined 1990s production without requiring the original hardware. It includes plug-in formats: VST 3.7, AU, and AAX, and on Mac requires macOS 11 or higher with a VST 3.7 compatible host for the VST version and V2 Audio Units compatible for AU, and AAX compatible hosts. It sits within the wider Roland Cloud SRX family alongside SRX DANCE TRAX, SRX ELECTRIC PIANO, SRX STUDIO, SRX WORLD, SRX PIANO I, and SRX ORCHESTRA, and it offers hardware integration for compatible Roland instruments. It is available through Roland Cloud, an evolving cloud-based suite of software synthesizers, drum machines, and sampled instruments for modern creators, and as a lifetime key. It suits pop, R&B, hip hop, house, and film score production, and is especially valuable for producers seeking authentic 1990s keyboard textures. #SRXKEYBOARDS #SRX #Roland #RolandCloud #WaveExpansion #KeyboardSounds #Piano #ElectricPiano #Organ #90sSounds #LifetimeKey #HardwareIntegration #MusicProduction #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase #StudioOne #ProTools #macOS #Windows
