The interface uses perception-based parameters like Size, Width, and Distance, which combine common parameters into more intuitive controls — so you think about the space you want rather than about decay time, pre-delay, and diffusion separately. It also offers a streamlined interface and inter-plugin communication for smoother workflows, so instances can coordinate across a session. It sits in sonible's smart range alongside smart:chain, smart:EQ, smart:comp, smart:gate, and smart:deess. Plugin formats are VST, VST3, AU, and AAX on Mac and VST, VST3, and AAX on Windows, with sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz, native Apple Silicon support, and machine-based or iLok authorization.
