Aberrant DSP SketchCassette II is a cassette-inspired lo-fi effects processor designed around the sonic characteristics of 4-track cassette recorders. It provides 12 tape type and quality profiles, continuously adjustable tape age, two saturation models, tape hiss, dropouts, and extensive Wow & Flutter controls for introducing anything from subtle analog instability to heavily degraded tape effects.

SketchCassette II also includes tempo-synced modulation, FM mode, flanging, noise-reduction compression, adjustable tape filtering, and stereo-width control for dropouts. Separate mix controls allow the tape filtering and compression to be blended with the dry signal, while 61 factory presets provide starting points for different lo-fi treatments. The plugin is available for Windows and macOS, with VST3 and AAX support on Windows and AU, VST3, and AAX support on macOS, including Apple Silicon compatibility.
