Session Guitarist – Picked Nylon delivers the rich, clean tone of a handcrafted, nylon-stringed guitar, in an intuitive production tool, capturing the pure, warm tone of a nylon-stringed guitar, with over 200 inspiring patterns plus an additional melody instrument. The instrument's provenance is unusually specific: the sounds of PICKED NYLON were recorded in a carefully controlled studio environment, from a one-of-a-kind instrument built by master guitar-maker Lisa Weinzierl, who uses centuries-old techniques inspired by traditional Cremonese luthiers such as Stradivarius, with meticulously chosen materials including maple and spruce. Its content is documented: 201 professionally recorded patterns and 49 song presets for different genres and playing styles, with intuitive operation via a pattern browser, MIDI drag-and-drop, and updated modes for riffs and phrasing. You can choose from a huge library of picked rhythms, arpeggios, and strummed patterns, covering a broad range of playing styles and genres, and tweak the length, articulation, and fret position of patterns to create the exact style you want, while intuitive controls include multiple microphone positionings and pro-grade studio effects. The instrument's clean and mellow timbres are perfect for a range of genres, from classical to electronica, as well as distinctive styles like bossa nova and flamenco, and PICKED NYLON perfectly complements the other acoustic releases in the SESSION GUITARIST collection. It is a KOMPLETE Instrument requiring the free KONTAKT PLAYER version 6.6 and higher, or KONTAKT version 6.6 and higher, and it was created in collaboration with Drumasonic.
