Session Guitarist – Electric Ruby Deluxe is the largest edition in the electric Session Guitarist line, following the pattern set by Electric Sunburst Deluxe: a high-quality collection of effects, amps, and cabinet emulations, where the Deluxe edition adds all-new chorus, flanger, and phaser stomp pedals to the original array of classic distortion and modulation effects. It shares the series' core architecture, using the same realistic strumming engine found in STRUMMED ACOUSTIC 1 and 2 while adding riffs and picked patterns, with a dynamic pattern search function so you can find what you need fast and then simply play a chord for authentic results.

The playing engine is designed around over 250 strummed and picked patterns in the Deluxe editions, with argpeggiator, strumming, picking, and riff modes and drag-and-drop of patterns and chord progressions into your DAW to fine-tune them. The Deluxe editions also add a distinct electric instrument alongside the accompanying one, giving a second playable electric guitar sound for lead and rhythm work. Numerous playing techniques are supported, including strumming, picking, riffs, and solo articulation, and the instrument is designed to sit your virtual electric guitar perfectly in the mix. It is a KOMPLETE Instrument and takes full advantage of KOMPLETE KONTROL hardware and the NKS standard, offering advantages such as hardware browsing and audio previews, light guide display, and it is created in collaboration with Big Wave Audio or drumasonic depending on the title — the award-winning teams behind Icon Bass, Prime Bass, Electric Sunburst Deluxe, Electric Vintage, Electric Storm Deluxe, Strummed Acoustic, Picked Acoustic, Session Percussionist, Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe, and more. Download size for comparable Deluxe electric titles is around 6.3 GB (about 13.6 GB uncompressed). It requires the free KONTAKT PLAYER version 6.2.2 and higher, or KONTAKT version 6.2.2 and higher, running on macOS and Windows in VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone formats. Confirm this specific title's contents and sample content on the product page, since the Ruby-named edition may differ in the guitar modelled and library size.
