Session Bassist – Jam Bass delivers the classic sound of an iconic offset bass guitar featuring dual passive single-coil pickups — an iconic bass guitar with passive electronics, crafted in Corona, California to the highest standard. The offset-body dual-pickup design is prized for a specific balance: smooth lows, articulate mids, and punchy clarity, which makes it versatile across genres rather than locked to one idiom. The developer's framing is direct: the bass that can do it all. Its content is documented precisely: two instruments — a pattern engine (283 patterns, 71 songs) and a melody instrument, with articulations including fingerstyle, pick, slaps, pops, and more. The library combines a pattern-based bass library with a sophisticated multisample set, designed to deliver authentic-sounding bass lines, patterns, and riffs for songwriting and music production, where a total of 283 patterns, single notes in many different articulations, round robin variants and velocities in multiple fret positions over a range of three octaves, and additional sample content were performed live by professional bassist Jakob Winterstein. A new multi-bus effect system, first introduced with our Session Guitarist – Electric Storm library, enables deeper processing than earlier entries. You can perform and customise your own solo melodies and basslines, dial in a wide range of bass tones with in-depth sound controls, and choose from 54 sound presets or create your own using stompboxes, amps, cabs, and studio effects. It was created in collaboration with Big Wave Audio — the team behind Icon Bass, Prime Bass, Electric Sunburst Deluxe, Electric Vintage, Electric Storm Deluxe, Strummed Acoustic, Picked Acoustic, Session Percussionist, Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe, and more. It is a KOMPLETE Instrument running on macOS and Windows in VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone formats with NKS support. #SessionBassist #JamBass #NativeInstruments #ElectricBass #BassGuitar #OffsetBass #Patterns #Phrases #MelodyInstrument #Slap #Pop #Fingerstyle #KOMPLETE #Kontakt #NKS #BigWaveAudio #MusicProduction #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #Standalone #LogicPro #Cubase #FLStudio
