Serum – Bass House Essentials is a preset pack for Xfer Records Serum aimed at bass house — the genre that sits between house's four-to-the-floor structure and bass music's heavy, modulated low end. Its defining production element is specific: bass house depends on a bassline that functions as the lead — a distorted, pitched, heavily modulated sound that carries the track's hook rather than merely supporting it — and a pack built for it must supply bass patches designed to sit in the foreground. Packs in this category typically supply basses and wobbles as the primary content, plus stabs, leads, keys, and effects, organised by type, with macros assigned so the modulation is performable, often with matching MIDI files so the riffs are reusable. Useful reference points from comparable free and commercial packs document the shape of the content: W. A. Production's free Bass House Serum pack contains 18 perfectly crafted Bass House / Wobble Serum presets, described as a real must-have library for all serious EDM producers covering Bass House, Dubstep, EDM, Electro House, and Hybrid Trap; and commercial packs in the same territory work similarly, with one developer noting I have specially designed each preset to represent each influential sound that has made the biggest hits in Bass House. Presets require a licensed copy of Xfer Records Serum, and note that Serum 2 is a separate generation — publishers increasingly include a Serum 2 preset pack alongside the Serum 1 version for full compatibility, so confirm which format your listing's pack provides. It suits bass house, tech house, and bass-driven house production. Presets run inside the host synthesizer on macOS and Windows. Confirm the publisher and preset count against your listing, since the name is descriptive and bass house packs are numerous. #SerumBassHouseEssentials #Serum #XferRecords #BassHouse #PresetPack #Presets #Basses #Wobbles #Stabs #Leads #Macros #MIDIFiles #House #TechHouse #BassMusic #SoundDesign #ElectronicMusic #MusicProduction #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase
