Serato Hex FX is a chainable multi-effects plugin designed to combine multiple processing stages into a single creative effects environment. It includes 50 individual effects covering bit crushing, compression, delay, distortion, filtering, modulation, reverb, saturation, shapers, tremolo, and time stretching. Effects can be reordered and combined into custom chains, while the Hex Dial allows multiple effect parameters to be manipulated from a single control for evolving and synchronized sound transformations. The plugin also includes more than 200 multi-effect presets for drums, samples, bass, vocals, and mix buses.

Hex FX also provides Performance FX for real-time manipulation, including Brakers, Repeaters, Half Time, vinyl backspins, and DJ Transform. Its Preset Macro Editor allows individual effects and parameters to be mapped to the Hex Dial, while newer additions include Spring Reverb, Cassette Sim, and a 3-band EQ. The plugin is available for Windows and macOS in VST3 and AAX Native on Windows, and AU, VST3, and AAX Native on macOS, with support for FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Maschine, and Serato Studio.
