Scheps Omni Channel 2 is the expanded version of the Omni channel strip plugin, created with Grammy-winning mixer Andrew Scheps (Metallica, Jay Z, Adele, Low Roar). It provides a complete channel in one plugin, combining preamp saturation, filters, dynamics, and EQ with the flexibility of an insert slot, and the second version adds genuinely useful capabilities rather than cosmetic changes.

The version 2 additions are: CRUSH preamp saturation for heavy distortion, 24 dB/octave filters with resonance (RES) control suited to creative effects, a soft-knee compressor (SOFT) added to the plugin's VCA, FET & OCTO dynamics options, the ability to host absolutely any VST3 plugin, by any brand, in the Omni's insert slot, and new FOCUS presets created by Andrew. That VST3 hosting feature is notable — it lets you place third-party plugins inside the channel strip's signal flow rather than only before or after it. It runs in VST3, AU, and AAX formats on macOS and Windows, supports Intel and Apple Silicon CPUs, and is compatible with major DAWs including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, and Reaper.
