Newfangled Audio Saturate is a spectral clipper and psychoacoustic overdrive processor based on the clipping algorithm used in Elevate Mastering Limiter. Its Detail Preservation technology processes frequency components independently, allowing Saturate to add up to 24 dB of overdrive while minimizing the tonal shifts and loss of high-frequency detail commonly associated with conventional clipping. The Shape control smoothly transitions between soft and hard clipping characteristics, making it suitable for both subtle saturation and aggressive peak reduction.

Saturate provides Drive, Detail Preservation, Shape, Symmetry, Ceiling, Input, and Output controls, along with automatic output-level scaling and real-time saturation curve and peak/RMS metering. Its anti-aliasing technology is designed to reduce aliasing artifacts without relying solely on conventional oversampling. The plugin can be used on individual tracks, drum buses, basses, guitars, or complete mixes and supports VST, VST3, AU, and AAX on Windows and macOS.
