ROUNDS is an advanced sequence synthesizer built around a genuinely unusual idea: instead of one synth voice, you design and sequence up to 16 different synth sounds inside a single instrument. Its analog and digital engines cover a huge sonic palette — the digital side is an FM engine with three oscillators and a 2-pole filter, capable of everything from sparkling and clean tones to metallic and dissonant textures — while the Voice Programmer and Morph controls let you move between sound cells while a sequence plays or MIDI notes arrive. Performance is central to the design. Remote Octave maps on/off assignments for blocks to the white keys of your keyboard while cells map to the black keys, letting you re-sequence in real time and in any combination. Onboard delays include classic and grain types, plus a reverb algorithm exclusive to ROUNDS, with a dedicated LFO for flanging and chorus.
