Repro is a pair of flagship virtual analog synthesizers (Repro-1 and Repro-5) developed by u-he. Built using meticulous component-level modeling, component behavior capture, and zero-delay feedback (ZDF) filters, Repro delivers the raw power, dynamic analog instability, and organic warmth of late 70s/early 80s Sequential Circuits hardware. It is widely used across synthwave, techno, film scoring, ambient, Afrobeats, pop, and progressive house for fat mono basslines, lush analog polyphonic pads, cutting leads, and vintage arpeggios.

The bundle includes two distinct synths within a single license: Repro-1, a monophonic synth featuring a 2-oscillator layout, an integrated 64-step pattern sequencer, an arpeggiator, and a hidden tweakable circuit board page for custom hardware drift; and Repro-5, an 8-voice polyphonic synth featuring classic poly-mod routing, dual oscillators, a vintage low-pass filter, and unison mode. Both plugins feature an extensive FX section—including Wave Folder/Distortion, Analog Delay (Lyrebird), Sonic Conditioner (Dresden), Resonator (Jaws), Chorus/Flanger, and Velvet Reverb. Repro operates in 64-bit VST2, VST3, AU, AAX, and CLAP formats for Windows, macOS (with native Apple Silicon and Intel support), and Linux.
