Pulsar Audio 8200 is a component-accurate emulation of the legendary GML 8200 parametric EQ, recreating its all-discrete Class-A analog circuitry, parallel topology, and distinctive filter shapes. The EQ is designed to provide tight low frequencies, clear high frequencies, and precise frequency shaping while retaining the smooth response associated with the original hardware. Its on-screen curve editor and spectrum analyzer provide visual control over the EQ response, while the parallel architecture allows broad tonal adjustments and surgical corrections without the typical behavior of conventional digital EQs.

Pulsar 8200 extends the original design with high-pass and low-pass filters, Tilt EQ, Air and Sub bands, and an integrated de-esser for controlling sibilance and high-frequency transients. The plugin also includes M/S processing, channel bypass and listen controls, adjustable gain scaling, and a resizable interface for modern mixing and mastering workflows. It is available for Windows and macOS in VST3, AU, and AAX formats, with compatibility across major DAWs.
