W. A. Production PsychoPan is a psychoacoustic spatial audio processor designed to position sounds within a three-dimensional space while retaining a standard stereo output. Its HyperSpatial™ Audio Core uses level, timing, phase, and spectral cues to control perceived horizontal position, elevation, depth, and distance. The central XY Pad provides visual control over pan and elevation, while the Zone Module adds front-to-back positioning for cinematic and immersive sound design.

PsychoPan includes a Perceptual Distance Engine with five dedicated sub-modules for level attenuation, proximity effect, width loss, distant diffusion, and low-frequency reinforcement. Cinesafe Visual Guidelines assist with placement for film and television, while real-time visual feedback, modular bypass controls, and a zero-latency safety limiter provide monitoring and output protection. The plugin is available for Windows and macOS in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats.
