Audiority Pre X7 is an analog-modeled tube preamplifier originally based on a vintage unit designed primarily for bass guitar and adapted for use with a wider range of audio sources. Its input and output stages use real-time 12AX7 tube models to reproduce nonlinear saturation and harmonic coloration without introducing phase issues. A four-step low-cut filter can be positioned before or after the input tube, while the Baxandall tone control provides broad tonal shaping.

Pre X7 also includes Boost, Pad, and Phase switches, input/output linking, and a brickwall clipping limiter for controlling extreme distortion settings. The plugin supports VST2, VST3, AU, AAX, and CLAP formats on Windows and macOS, including native Apple Silicon support, making it useful for bass, guitars, vocals, synths, drums, and other sources that benefit from tube warmth, harmonic saturation, and analog-style preamplification.
