The accent circuit in particular is what gives a 303 its bite, and it is the element most often missed in simpler emulations. Version 2 expands the instrument well beyond the hardware's limits. Additions documented across the line include an expanded sequencer with more steps than the original's 16, an enhanced distortion section with multiple models, additional modulation options including an LFO and envelope routing, a built-in effects chain, and pattern management with export and MIDI drag-and-drop.
