Orrville Pipe Organ is described as a virtual instrument featuring the sounds of a classic pneumatic pipe organ with a robust and mighty sound. The pipe organ is a specific rather than generic resource: its sound is produced by pushing air through tuned pipes, which gives it a continuous sustain with no decay, an enormous dynamic range, and a low end that no other instrument approaches — and the pneumatic action adds characteristic mechanical noise from the wind system that makes the instrument feel physical rather than synthetic. Soundiron describes it as offering vintage organ sounds for Kontakt. The library is designed for the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt 6.2.2 or later, and a compatibility point matters for buyers: this is a standard Kontakt open-format library, so the free Kontakt Player does not fully support it and can only run it in a limited "demo mode." However, the sample directories are unlocked so you can use them in other wav-compatible software, sampler, and synth formats. Requirements are the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt version 6.2.2+, Windows 7 or higher, and Mac OSX 10.12 or higher. It is priced at $59 USD from Soundiron and via distributor Plugin Boutique. Soundiron describes its mission since 2011 as to create a massive selection of inspiring virtual instruments, choirs, orchestral ensembles, solo voices, drums and percussion ensembles, rare, folk and vintage instruments, experimental sonic creations, cinematic sound-design and effects, and pure acoustical exploration, and states that we build each Soundiron library with unmatched realism, quality and detail, intuitive user interfaces, cutting-edge performance features, and unique bonus content that you won't find anywhere else. It suits film and television scoring, horror and thriller work, sacred and gothic music, and cinematic production, and is a natural choice where a large, imposing organ is required rather than a tonewheel or combo organ. #OrrvillePipeOrgan #Soundiron #PipeOrgan #Organ #Kontakt #FullKontaktRequired #VintageOrgan #Pneumatic #FilmScore #Television #Horror #Thriller #Gothic #Cinematic #Sacred #SoundDesign #MusicProduction #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro #Cubase #Reaper
