Origins Vol. 1-5 Bundle gathers Sonuscore's five paired-instrument ethnic libraries into one purchase. The series' organising idea is stated in the bundle description: additionally to the 5 beautifully matching couples of the original Origins Series, you will get every instrument as a brand-new solo NKI-instrument, so each volume's pairing can be used either as the designed combination or as separate instruments — this provides you even more flexibility in the selection of your sounds. The named couples include Vol. III: 12-String Acoustic Guitar + Balalaika and Vol. IV: Oud + Qanun, with the other volumes pairing similarly complementary instruments from different traditions.

The collection's tooling is its other distinguishing feature: Origins Bundle Vol. 1-5 is designed with a focus on user friendliness to facilitate an expedient workflow and is an excellent solution in the quest for authentic, fresh, and captivating musical experiences, built around a multi-arpeggio-designer that generates interlocking patterns across the paired instruments so that writing for two instruments is faster than programming each separately. A compatibility note is essential to catalogue correctly: this product requires a FULL version of Native Instruments' Kontakt. The free Kontakt player is not sufficient, as it only runs the instrument in DEMO mode. Stated requirements are the full version of Native Instrument's Kontakt 5 (version 5.8.1 or higher), an Intel Core 2 Duo processor recommended, Mac OSX 10.11 or higher, Windows 7 or higher, and 4 GB RAM. It suits world music, film and game scoring, folk-influenced production, and cinematic work, and the paired-instrument design makes it particularly useful for writing interlocking parts across two textures.
