MSoundFactory is MeldaProduction's flagship instrument platform — a full sound design environment rather than a single synthesizer. It provides a powerful sampler with a sample bank system that puts all samples in a single highly compressed yet fast repository for caching and distribution, along with synthesis, effects, and the construction tools needed to build complete instruments. The developer has signalled that granular and slicing capabilities are on that roadmap. Its modular architecture is the point: instruments are assembled from oscillators, filters, envelopes, and effects, modulated through a dual modulation system with a wide range of sources, and the MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES), a step-sequencer, and several methods for algorithmic postprocessing. Crucially, users can build and distribute their own products: creators create a so-called product featuring instruments, samples and presets using Create product in the Designer menu, and end users then simply use the Install product feature — which is how MeldaProduction's own instrument titles such as PowerStrings, PowerWoodwinds, and Analog Empire are delivered. It offers global preset management and online preset exchange, automatic gain compensation, 64-bit processing and an unlimited sampling rate, and supports VST, VST3, AU, and AAX on Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and macOS 10.14 Mojave or newer (64-bit) with Intel, AMD, or Apple Silicon CPUs. MSoundFactoryLE provides all the sounds without edit-screen access, and MSoundFactory Player is the free tier. #MSoundFactory #MeldaProduction #ModularSynth #SoundDesign #Sampler #Synth #VirtualInstrument #MES #Modulation #Granular #Slicing #PresetExchange #Mixing #MusicProduction #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #ProTools #LogicPro #Cubase
