About Moog Mariana
Moog Mariana is a dedicated dual-engine bass synthesizer plugin developed by Moog Music. Designed to synthesize thick, dynamic, and room-shaking low frequencies, it brings classic Moog analog synthesis techniques into a modern digital architecture. It is widely used across hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, EDM, pop, synthwave, and cinematic scoring for laying down warm sub-bass, punchy basslines, and evolving bass leads.
The plugin features two independent synth layers (Element 1 and Element 2) that can be stacked or split across the keyboard, each equipped with twin oscillators, precise envelope generators, and classic Moog resonant filters. Key capabilities include built-in stereo chorus and delay processors, a dedicated sub-oscillator per layer, dynamic saturation and compression modules, a flexible modulation matrix with 3 LFOs and 3 envelopes, and a unique Crossover control to manage frequency separation between the top end and deep bass. Mariana operates as a standalone application or as a plugin in 64-bit VST3, AU, and AAX formats for Windows (10/11) and macOS (with native Apple Silicon and Intel support), along with AUv3 support for iOS/iPadOS.
