Model 84 Polyphonic Synthesizer from Softube is a fully modeled recreation of one of the best-selling analog/digital hybrid polysynths of the 1980s, originally launched in 1984. It is a six-voice polyphonic synthesizer, playing up to six notes at once just like the hardware it is based on. Softube's modeling captures the meticulously modeled unison phase and the instrument's influential, unmistakable tone, along with its fast and easy factory presets. Softube adds features the hardware never had, including extended unison mode with authority over sync and a more pronounced note attack, velocity and aftertouch support for dynamic performance control over amp, filter, and pulse width, and an expanded control panel. Contemporary artist presets are included. Three versions ship together: the Model 84 Instrument, the Model 84 Chorus module for Softube Amp Room, and seven Model 84 modules for Softube Modular. It requires macOS Sonoma 14, Sequoia 15, or Tahoe 26, or Windows 10 (64-bit) or Windows 11, plus a Softube and iLok account, running in AU, VST, VST3, and/or AAX hosts. #Model84 #Softube #PolySynth #AnalogSynth #VintageSynth #Synth #HybridSynth #Modular #AmpRoom #Unison #Aftertouch #SoundDesign #ElectronicMusic #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro
