Softube Model 80 Five Voice Synthesizer is an expertly modeled five-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer based on an influential hardware instrument from 1980. It recreates the original's circuit behavior, voice architecture, modulation, and performance characteristics, including two oscillators per voice, noise generation, a low-pass filter, dedicated filter and amplifier envelopes, and the distinctive interaction between its five voices. It is suited to pads, basses, leads, keys, chords, and vintage electronic sounds.

Model 80 includes the original 40 factory presets, alongside modern enhancements such as polyphonic glide, Voice Pan Spread, velocity and aftertouch modulation, an Aging control, and an Invert Voice Mod function. Its Unison mode can combine up to five voices for thicker monophonic sounds, while the included Model 80 for Modular provides VCO, VCF, LFO, ENV, and MULTIPAN modules for deeper modular sound design. The plugin supports AU, VST, VST3, and AAX formats on Windows and macOS.
