Model 77 Dual Layer Synth is an analog-modeled polyphonic synthesizer software instrument developed by Softube. Built using precise component-level emulation, it captures the warm, organic, and expansive sonic signature of the famous 1977 Japanese dual-layer polyphonic hardware synth (the Yamaha CS-80). It is widely used across cinematic scoring, synthwave, ambient, pop, progressive electronic, and R&B to create soaring leads, brassy stabs, evolving pads, and complex expressive textures.

The synth faithfully recreates the dual-structure architecture of the original, offering two complete synth layers (Upper and Lower) that can be sculpted independently, layered together, or split across the keyboard.
