Mixbus 12 is Harrison's console-inspired DAW, built around a dedicated knob-per-function mixer featuring Harrison's signature 32C EQ. The premise is that a DAW should behave like a mixing console rather than a track sheet: every channel carries the 32C EQ and signal processing, along with a Mixbus Gate on every channel. Harrison's tape saturation, bus compression, and tone control are reproduced across every bus, so productions retain the warmth, depth, and richness of Harrison's console sound. Version 12 adds a DeEsser and DeNoiser to every channel strip, expands the cue system to 16 rows, allows audio and MIDI recording directly into cue slots, improves the piano roll, and introduces processing-chain templates alongside interface and navigation refinements. Mixbus Pro adds a switchable SSL 9000J Dynamics & EQ on every channel and Dolby Atmos immersive mixing tools for 3D mixes ready for streaming services. Supported formats are AudioUnit, VST, VST3, and LV2 on Mac, VST, VST3, and LV2 on Windows and Linux.
