Arturia Mix DRUMS is a drum processing and enhancement plugin co-developed with mixing engineer Emre Ramazanoglu, designed to increase punch, presence, body, and perceived loudness without sacrificing peak headroom. Its dual-band processing engine separates low and mid/high frequencies, with dedicated drive, tone, and transient controls for each section. Smart Peak Control provides automatic input ceiling adjustment, while phase-coherent parallel processing allows clean and processed signals to be blended for controlled saturation and weight.

Mix DRUMS includes transient shaping, tape and analog/digital distortion, OP AMP drive, HP/LP filtering, a dynamic Space section, 3-band output EQ, and noise textures including vinyl crackle, tape hiss, static, radio, and electronic interference. The Space section combines convolution and algorithmic reverb with tape and digital delay, while advanced controls provide adjustable band crossovers and spatial dynamics. It includes 92 factory presets and runs on Windows and macOS in VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and NKS formats, making it suitable for drum buses, live kits, loops, samples, and individual one-shots.
