Moog Minimoog is a virtual instrument by Universal Audio developed in exclusive partnership with Moog Music. It uses circuit modeling to recreate the sound and behavior of the original Minimoog Model D, including its fat oscillators, characteristic ladder filter, self-oscillation, extreme resonance, and feedback distortion. It is well suited to basses, leads, synth solos, funk, hip-hop, electronic music, and classic analog sound design.

The plugin also includes several custom modifications based on enhancements used on professional hardware units, including switchable note priority, legato, Sample & Hold, and an additional LFO. The current UAD Native version runs on macOS and Windows without requiring Universal Audio hardware, while Apollo users can also record the instrument through their interface in real time.
