Cherry Audio Mercury-8 is a virtual analog synthesizer inspired by the Roland Jupiter-8, using circuit and behavior modeling to recreate its characteristic analog sound while adding modern production features. It features dual-layer architecture with up to 16 voices per layer, dual oscillators, Jupiter-style high-pass and resonant low-pass filters, analog drift controls, a modulation matrix, arpeggiator, and a 16x4 polyphonic step sequencer. Mercury-8 also includes over 600 presets and three customizable effects chains with 20 studio effects. It is available in AU, VST, VST3, and AAX formats for 64-bit Windows 7+ and macOS 10.13+, with native Apple Silicon support.
