Manley Massive Passive EQ is a two-channel, four-band passive tube equalizer developed by Manley and modeled by Universal Audio. It combines design elements from console, parametric, graphic, and Pultec-style EQs to provide broad, natural tone shaping with exceptional headroom. Its smooth curves can add weight, presence, air, and clarity without making the sound harsh, making it useful for vocals, instruments, mix buses, and mastering.

The plugin includes both Standard and Mastering versions. The Standard version provides continuous frequency and bandwidth controls, while the Mastering version uses 16 stepped selections for precise and repeatable adjustments. The modeled circuit also captures band interaction, tube amplifier distortion, and transformer/inductor hysteresis, giving the EQ its characteristic analog tone and musical response. It runs natively on Windows and macOS, with no Universal Audio hardware required, while also supporting Apollo and UAD Accelerator processing.
