Sugar Bytes Looperator is a 16-step loop manipulation and effects sequencer designed to rearrange audio and create rhythmic edits, stutters, rolls, and sound-design effects. Its Slicer can divide incoming audio into 16 slices and assign them to different sequence steps, while the Looper provides reverse and repeat-based manipulation. Additional processing includes filters, distortion, reverb, delay, phaser, vinyl effects, grain processing, comb filtering, and talkbox-style filtering, allowing multiple effects to be sequenced within the same pattern.

Looperator provides five adjustable parameters per effect and step, with modulation through envelope followers, randomization, and selectable modulation curves. Complete effect sequences can be triggered via MIDI notes, while the processing lanes can be reordered to change the signal flow. The plugin includes over 300 presets, supports independent left/right processing, and offers unlimited undo/redo. It runs on Windows and macOS in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats, with standalone operation also available.
