AIR Music Tech Lo-Fly Dirt is a lo-fi audio coloration processor developed in collaboration with MSXII Sound Design, designed to add vintage character, saturation, filtering, and digital artifacts to audio sources. Its seven specialized modes draw inspiration from hardware such as the MPC60, SP-404, SP-1200, and Casio SK-5, covering effects including 12-bit saturation, vinyl coloration, low-pass filtering, 8-bit degradation, and high-pass filtering. A Character control and Dry/Wet mix allow the intensity of the processing to be adjusted from subtle coloration to more pronounced lo-fi degradation.

Lo-Fly Dirt includes 70 factory presets and is designed for processing drums, samples, bass, vocals, synths, and complete mixes. The desktop version supports VST, VST3, AU, and AAX on Windows and macOS, while the plugin also integrates natively with compatible Akai MPC and Force hardware. An AUv3 version is available separately for iPhone and iPad.
