Leap Expansion – Jazz Hop is a Leap Expansion for Kontakt 8 and free Kontakt 8 Player, and it includes 160 carefully curated sounds, including 148 loops and 12 one-shot samples. Leap is Native Instruments' loop-and-sample performance environment, described as combining the power of a looper VST with an intuitive way to jam and make samples in seconds, giving creative new ways to experiment with a wide array of sounds and processing tools in real-time — so an Expansion is not a preset library but a set of material built for playing, looping, and reshaping. The content breakdown is specific. Loops comprise 50 Drums, 13 Guitar, 21 Piano/Keys, 14 SFX, 11 Percussion, 10 Bass, 8 Brass, 7 Mallet, 5 Synth Lead, 3 Synth, 2 Strings, 2 Organ, and 2 Vocal, while one-shots include 5 Drums, 4 SFX, 2 Mallet, and 1 Vocal. Total download size is 456 MB. The jazz hop genre it serves is the jazz-sampled, laid-back end of hip hop production, drawing on jazzy chords, swung drums, and warm acoustic textures. Requirements are the free Kontakt Player or Kontakt, Windows 10 or 11 (latest Service Pack), macOS 13, 14, and 15 (latest update), an Intel Core i5 or equivalent CPU, or Apple Silicon, with 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended), graphics hardware support for Direct 3D 11.1 (Feature Level 11_0) or higher, and 2 GB free disk space, in standalone, VST3, AU, and AAX on macOS (64-bit only) and standalone, VST3, and AAX on Windows. Some Leap Expansions are included in Kontakt 8 and Komplete 15 Standard and above. It suits lo-fi hip hop, jazz hop, boom bap, and chillhop production, and presets and kits for Maschine, Battery, and Massive are also included per distributor listings. #LeapExpansionJazzHop #LeapExpansion #Kontakt8 #NativeInstruments #JazzHop #LoFiHipHop #BoomBap #Chillhop #Loops #OneShots #Kontakt #KOMPLETE #MusicProduction #Standalone #VST3 #AU #AAX #AbletonLive #LogicPro #FLStudio #Cubase #Maschine
