Hollywood Fantasy Strings is the first iteration of Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra, and it sets the series' brief: it puts 5 of the most iconic instruments from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras at your fingertips alongside brand-new stylized recordings from modern-day orchestral musicians. The library's purpose is stated directly — fire-breathing dragons. Epic battles between kingdoms. Ancient untold magic, casting 1,000 years of darkness upon the land — which is to say it exists because a conventional modern string section cannot produce the sound of a fantasy score. Content is specific: 8 instruments with 147 patches, across a 60 GB library of 24-bit, 44.1 kHz samples, and it was recorded in full stereo mic placement in the historic EastWest Studio One, the same recording studio as our legendary Hollywood Orchestra series, which means it blends well with contemporary libraries — a deliberate design choice so fantasy and modern orchestral material can be combined coherently. It includes all of the features of EastWest's revolutionary Opus player, and comes with innovative new features and a suite of powerful effects available in our revolutionary Opus software engine. It includes "Opus" as a sample player, available as standalone or plug-in in AAX Native, AU, VST2, and VST3 on Mac and Windows. Requirements for Opus libraries are macOS 10.15 or higher (64-bit) or Windows 10 or higher (64-bit with an ASIO sound driver), with a quad-core CPU (octa-core recommended) at 2.7 GHz or higher, 16 GB RAM (32 GB or more recommended), and an SSD hard drive (SATA or PCIe). EastWest products require registration with the manufacturer and with iLok to activate your licence, and the title is available as a perpetual licence or via ComposerCloud+. #HollywoodFantasyStrings #EastWest #HollywoodFantasyOrchestra #Fantasy #Strings #Orchestral #FilmScore #GameAudio #Television #TrailerMusic #Cinematic #Opus #ComposerCloud #SoundDesign #MusicProduction #AAX #AU #VST2 #VST3 #Standalone #LogicPro #Cubase #ProTools #Reaper
