That is the correct model of how a tonewheel organ works — the tonewheels run continuously and the drawbars select which of them are heard — and it is why the instrument produces the characteristic organ behaviour where all notes share the same tonewheel sources, rather than each note being an independent sample. The detail extends further: IK's industry-leading modeling then faithfully recreates tonal filtering, independent key click, and the iconic Hammond percussion and chorus-vibrato circuits to recreate the massive, organic feel of the real instrument. Its feature set comprises advanced organ editing: tonewheel model selection, generator leakage, key click, tonal balance, percussion, and chorus, 24 custom drawbar settings available within each preset, the official Leslie speaker with 7 amps and 5 cabinets to mix and match, a parallel guitar amp section with 2 amp models and a 4x12 cabinet, a 5-effect stompbox pedalboard for ultra-flexible tonal shaping, a 3-effect studio post FX section for final polish and mastering, a zoomed-in controls view for live or session use, MIDI program change preset assignments, and assignable MIDI continuous controllers for use with external controllers. The classic organ effects are derived from IK's award-winning AmpliTube and T-RackS software, and can be assigned to MIDI control for on-stage use, with Limiter 76 FET-based compressor, EQ-81 console tone-shaping, and digital reverb available.
