Antelope Audio FET-A76 is a FET-based compressor and limiting amplifier modeled after the classic FET compressors introduced in the 1960s. Its field-effect transistor design provides the characteristic fast attack response, punchy dynamics, and harmonic coloration associated with this type of compressor. The processor can be used for subtle dynamic control or more aggressive limiting, making it particularly effective on drums, vocals, bass, and lead instruments.

FET-A76 includes Input and Output gain controls, four selectable compression ratios, and an All-Buttons-In mode that produces a more explosive response with additional harmonic distortion. The latter is particularly useful for drum room microphones, electric guitars, and other sources requiring aggressive coloration. The plugin is available natively on Windows and macOS in VST3, AU, and AAX formats, with a Synergy Core version for real-time processing on compatible Antelope Audio interfaces.
