F6 Floating-Band Dynamic EQ is sonic surgery with a scalpel — not a machete, which captures its purpose: instead of EQ being a constant amount, apply boost or cut only when the music requires it. From minimizing sharp resonances to creating broad boosts, the plugin's response is driven by the material itself, with musical dynamics as the key to shaping the EQ's response. That makes it practical for problems that a static EQ either fails to fix or over-corrects.

The technical scope is broad: 6 floating bands that can be placed anywhere in the spectrum, with powerful EQ and compression/expansion controls per band and mid-side processing options, plus high and low pass filters and bell and notch EQ shapes. Advanced sidechaining allows individual bands to respond to their internal or an external sidechain — as the developer illustrates, the kick drum could affect only a bass track's lowest band, while the bass's other bands respond to the instrument's own dynamics. Real-time analysis metering lets you monitor the sidechain, change display resolution from 1 to 1/24th octave, choose pre or post placement, and select RMS or peak averaging. A real-time spectrum analyzer is now included. It runs in VST3, AU, and AAX formats on macOS and Windows.
