Evolve Elastic Crossgrade from any full Evolve product is the discounted route into the futuristic entry of the Evolve series for existing customers. Eligibility is stated precisely: it is a crossgrade for owners of the full version of any Evolve product, and the full version of Evolve Elastic is also available separately — so owning Evolve Alloy, Evolve Dark Matter, Evolve Air, Evolve Velvet, or Evolve Nest Acoustics at full tier qualifies you. Lite editions do not, as the series maintains separate Upgrade from ... Lite paths. The instrument is described as futuristic synthesis, combining over 250 sound sources ranging from squelching acid basslines and elastic plucks to bouncing rhythms, futuristic textures, and glossy pads. Its designer's intent is stated: shaped with extreme and evolving modulation, Elastic is designed to twist, stretch, and mutate sound into something entirely new. Its engine follows the series architecture — you build your sound from four layers, blend between them with the XY pad, and then shape the output using four elastic-inspired macro effects: Melt, Bounce, Stretch, and Gloss — and it offers dual filters, endless modulation potential, and 16 effects modules to power its 250 presets crafted by Excite Audio's team of professional sound designers. The series-standard feature set applies: 4 Sound Sources (A, B, C, D), Sample and Synth OSC engines, an XY Pad with Sounds and FX modes, user sample import, randomise across sounds, parameters, and effects, plus envelope parameters covering Delay, Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain, Release, and Link and Pitch Wheel plus Modwheel mapping. It runs as VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone on macOS 10.15 or higher (Intel and native Apple Silicon) and Windows 7 or higher, 64-bit only, with a recommended buffer size of 512 samples or higher, tested in Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, and Reason. A Lite edition and an Upgrade from Evolve Elastic Lite also exist. It suits electronic music, hyperpop, experimental production, and sound design. #EvolveElastic #Evolve #ExciteAudio #Crossgrade #FuturisticSynthesis #AcidBass #Plucks #Textures #Macros #Melt #Bounce #Stretch #Gloss #XYPAD #Modulation #SoundDesign #Hyperpop #Experimental #ElectronicMusic #MusicProduction #VST #VST3 #AU #AAX #Standalone #FLStudio #AbletonLive #LogicPro
